I am sure you have heard (possibly many times) that ‘we are what we eat’ and then ‘what we absorb’. It is also all over the media that our immune system is important to help keep us healthy. But are you a little confused about what that actually means for you?

Did you know that the immune system is the most complex system in the human body? It is made up of several protective layers that help shield us from ‘nasties’ like infections and disease. Amazingly, over 70% of our immune tissue is located within the gut, so it is vital we improve our gut health to strengthen our immune system.

How do we best go about that? Many of my clients seek me out to help them understand how the latest science and research is relevant to them personally; for example, which stress-reduction and enjoyable movement activities they should be doing daily.
