I was drawn to look up the meaning of spirit to be included here. How profound are those words. Whenever I share the message from spirit, they are right there inspiring me to write with their encouragement. I’m never at a loss for words when I need to write – they just turn up. Thank goodness is all I can say. The irony isn’t lost on me. I love words and thankfully they share some great ones with me.
I often get asked to share stories of my connections to those in spirit and felt drawn to do this in my article this month. I feel I may be doing this regularly this year.
Whilst I do many readings that are varied guidance from our loved ones in spirit, the biggest highlight for me is when I connect someone to their loved one in spirit, to help them with their grief. Losing a loved one is not only heartbreaking it also sucks on many levels. There are often things you didn’t get a chance to say, or maybe you forgot to ask. The physical presence is no longer a part of your day-to-day life, and that is such a hard one to swallow. So you can imagine the shift in energy when someone comes in for a reading, and gets that reassurance their loved one is still around them, albeit in spirit form. I got to connect with a lovely lady the other day I met at a country mediumship demonstration a few years back, and she expressed how the information her dear mum shared on the night, was spot on. It was during the show where her mum shared where her daughter could find her letters she had written. She spoke of them being under the bed and tucked away. So, her daughter searched high and low with no luck. It wasn’t until a year later that her dad was staying in the spare room, and she noticed he was using a suitcase as a makeshift bedside table, and she asked where did that come from? Under the bed he replied. She was curious as to what was in the case and low and behold there were the letters.
Another great message from a spirit I connected with for the mother of his children was the thumbs up sign. He showed me this and I shared it to my client and she nearly fell off the chair, that was his response to everything, he also had a tattoo of thumbs up as well! It never ceases to amaze me on the evidence and essence a spirit honours me to share with their loved one. I always feel the gratitude and love in every sense, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
