“Love without action is meaningless and action without love is irrelevant. When you have Love in Action in your heart, then the whole world will support you.”
These words were spoken by Dr. Deepak Chopra earlier this week and never have they been as relevant, necessary and urgent as they are today. But what does it really mean to put Love into Action and how can it support humanity moving forward?
As Conscious Leaders, our motivating force is love. We take each step forward, first from our heart space and then cognitively, and we use love as our guiding star. It is this love that forms the basis of the Conscious Leadership attributes that we have been exploring together over the past year and through the roadmap that I have been sharing each month.
Putting Love into Action means that we do all things with love as our motivating force. This means we look for ways to move away from fear, from judgement and from aggression. We do what we must to step outside of the victim mindset and instead embrace that we are creating the reality that we find ourselves in, whether we like this reality or not. We do this as we recognise that we always have choices – and depending on what we choose, there will be flow-on effects that we then accept as the outcome of our choices. With Love in Action, those choices are not thrown upon us, nor are they to be judged, but instead they are accepted in their entirety with gratitude and appreciation.
Putting Love into Action requires that we take an honest look at ourselves and understand that even though our perspective and viewpoints may be of utmost importance to us, we can never impose them onto anyone else and must respect the differences that make us human. Because when we do not, we fall victim to the false construct of duality and spiral down into the separation of self from the oneness that is.
Putting Love into Action means actually believing, deep in our hearts, what we say to ourselves and to others. It means walking our talk instead of hashing out grand theories and taking the higher ground when the going gets tough. It means stepping into the arena and facing whatever it is that may be thrown our way so that we can truly experience what we need for our own growth and evolution.
Putting Love into Action is also about taking systematic steps forward to bring about necessary change where such change will alleviate human suffering and elevate consciousness. It is a selfless act which, quite ironically, is completely born of self – because we are Love’s champions on earth and we are the only ones who can embody what it means each and every day.
I hope to see you on the side of Love where, as a collective, we can move humanity forward together. To find out more about Conscious Leadership and putting Love into Action, visit www.artemisevangelidi.com
