Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn’t it?

Why is it that we wait until after the fact, rather than taking time out to tune into our needs, wants and desires throughout our entire life? It’s the kind of stuff we just aren’t taught in school or by our parents.

Over the years through working in the wellness space & also witnessing my own journey throughout time. Something I have become more increasingly aware of is that Ninety percent of our symptoms and conditions are directly related to our emotions. Unresolved Trauma or circumstances that have been pushed down & not dealt with in a manner that best serves us. Sometimes we are afraid to speak up or we may even come from a family where things are swept under the carpet & never dealt with (I know this one all too well).

Suppressing our feelings and emotions can bring on all sorts of symptoms & conditions; heartburn, reflux, stomach-ache, bloating, fatigue, headache, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, anger, weight gain, weight loss, frustration & the list goes on.

Not a lot of people know this; but when I conduct a health assessment through Iridology, a part of my philosophy and practice is to look at the whole person, one of the areas I believe is of great importance is the emotional aspect of the self. Quite often it is left behind & not even considered from the get-go.

You may have a health issue that is continually recurring in your life, it could possibly be related to something that may have happened in the past?

We are unable to remember everything & the mind is remarkable at blocking out, so we don’t remember the pain or trauma that a particular event or situation held.

Some of the things I have assisted clients with Is issues with the liver and kidneys that have been related to unresolved anger & frustration, that once dealt with has completely disappeared.

Our guts in particular hold many secrets to our optimal health & wellbeing, next time you’re feeling off colour or that unusual recurring condition arises again, perhaps take the time to ask yourself. What is going on underneath that might be related to my past hurts, traumas, or setbacks? If you feel it’s emotional then help is at hand. You don’t have to suffer in silence.
