Getting Gutsy About Emotions-when stomach acid takes hold-Part 2 by Cherie Ashana

In part 1 last time, we spoke about how emotions impact us on so many levels & show up as symptoms that can be misdiagnosed or even ignored within the body.

One such thing is Stomach acid commonly known as Reflux & this hidden sign whether it be high or low is a message from your gut that it has a bigger message for you that it wants you to know.

Often people assume that reflux is connected to high acid within the stomach; when in fact it can be a sign that the stomach acid is too low. This means, low production of digestive enzymes within the gut.

Then we add insult to injury; with the band aid effect with products, you can buy in the supermarket, that only add a layer of a milky product that sits on the top of stomach contents. Keeping the symptoms at bay only for a short while.

My thinking is where there is smoke there is fire, I’m here to share with you that there are plenty of natural ways to tackle your stomach acid issues, whether it be low or high.

There is a vast majority of the population walking around with extremely low stomach acid & it’s leading on to other conditions in later life If left untreated.

When we look at the emotional aspects of reflux some of the messages that come to mind are resistance or disgust with what’s going on around you, feelings of overwhelm & feeling very upset about something that has been left upspoken or not dealt with.

You may want to ask yourself, who or what is causing such an emotional upheaval in my life at this moment?

From a practical side, are you staying well hydrated, eating enough vegetables & foods that are not high in refined sugars, fats, and carbohydrates? Coffee & sugary drinks are a big no go when it comes to low or high stomach acid, are you stressed, not getting enough sleep?

We can make a change, sometimes we just need a helping hand & shown that there is more than one method or way to get the job done.
