What is a Spiritual Financial Plan to grow abundance? By Abbey Rose

As with everything I share with you, a Spiritual Financial Plan will only be as successful as the behaviours you correlate with it. In this case, it is important to recognise that your money wants to help you. If you are punishing yourself for spending money, then you need to dig deeper into the behaviour and ask yourself why spending that money made you feel disempowered, and what you could do to rectify the situation.

Money is energy, so if you feel bad when you’re spending it, you will unconsciously reject it. And if you come at it from a more, more, more, mindset, you are projecting fear onto it, and scaring it away.

This is where a Spiritual Financial Plan comes into play. This isn’t a financial plan in the sense that you need to sit down, work out your incomings and outgoings, plan your budget and stick to a rigid spending regime. This is a spiritual financial plan – it is tied to your energy, intuition and soul mission.

There are a lot of rituals and practises you can use to help best utilise your Spiritual Financial Plan, but these three are the ones I use regularly:

  1. Make sure your spending aligns with your values.
When you get that gut-wrenching feeling that you’ve spent money when you shouldn’t have, it just means you have bought something you are unaligned with. Firstly, I want to preface this by saying that it is PERFECTLY FINE to treat yourself. In fact, you should be treating yourself regularly! I am talking about when you try to fill a void by spending money because you are hoping it will make you feel better. When you feel that impulse begin to drive your thoughts, take three deep breaths, have a glass of water and ask yourself why you are wanting to spend this money, and does it align with your current values? If it does, and the thought of spending this money makes you feel empowered, great! Spend away. If it doesn’t and you begin to feel disempowered, try some EFT tapping to help push past the impulsive spending sensation.

  2. Recognise that your abundance becomes the abundance of those around you.
When you become aligned with your soul’s mission and are open to bringing in all forms of abundance into your life, you are also creating abundance for the people in your community as well. Stepping into your soul’s purpose is one of the most powerful steps of a Spiritual Financial Plan as, when you work from a place of pure alignment, those around you benefit through positive change.

  3. Remember that money is energy and will ebb and flow.
When you are in an ebb, you do not need to work harder to bring your income back up. Money is energy, and everyone goes through ebbs and flows. When you recognise that you are still supported even when you are experiencing an ebb and are able to trust that you will reach a point of flow with ease, you will be able to focus on doing the most impactful work, instead of relying on hustle and grind.

Everything I have shared with you today is a behavioural shift, which is imperative in creating a stable Spiritual Financial Plan, and when you begin to implement these three strategies in your everyday life, you will begin to notice a shift in your abundance and your spending habits for the better.
