As a trance medium and channel, the connection I experience with Spirit has been one of the most profound parts of my spiritual journey. There is something deeply sacred about sitting in stillness, feeling the presence of Spirit draw close, and allowing the wisdom shared to gently flow onto the page.
What follows is an excerpt from a piece that came through during one of those moments of connection with my spirit guide, whom I named “I Am Here”, the first words I receive whenever the connection is made.
“I am here.
I am here, child.
All you have to do is dream.
Hold a vision in your heart, hold a vision in your mind, and allow that vision to evolve. Allow the vision to be created within your universe, within your world, within your soul, for you my child, like all those that walk the Earth, have the power, have the ability to create your own world.
Do you understand, my dear one?
You have the power to allow your dreams to come shining forth into your life.
Doubt is not required. Doubt is not needed. However, doubt so easily shadows the dreams of many on Earth. We in spirit ask that you hold your dreams, my child. Hold them and nurture them like the seeds planted in fertile soil.
The seed needs to be watered. The seed needs to be nurtured. The seed needs to be respected with ongoing support and love for it to grow, for it to sprout and push out from the soil and into new light.
For the seed, while in the soil, is covered in darkness, is it not?
The seed only knows this world for which is has been placed, surrounded by what it may believe to be the only world there is. A world of confinement. Yet within the seed itself, it knows there is more to its existence. It feels the changes within and allows this change to gently unfold, trusting all will be well, trusting in the process of life, trusting that it will be supported.
And so, the seed gently pushes itself through the confines of the rich fertile soul, pushing upward and outward into a world it does not yet know. A world it did not truly know existed, yet still it trusts the process of its life.
It trusts the process of its internal growth, feeling drawn to push upward, allowing itself to shine forth ever so gently, yet with quiet determination and strength. Pushing through and breaking free from the heaviness of the only life it once knew into a world of light. A light that now begins to dance upon its new growth.
A light that gives nourishment. A light that draws the seed forward, for it feels the calling to grow, to stand tall, drawn to a light it follows without question, trusting that this light will offer the seed what it needs to live.
Trusting that this light will offer, without question, the seed a new way of existence.
A life beyond what this tiny seed once believed life to be.
For this seed was once surrounded in darkness, feeling the pressure and confinement of the soil upon it. Yet the growth of this seed was inevitable, as it was always destined to grow, to stand tall, and shine brightly for all to see.
You, my child, are like the tiny seed.
Feeling your existence as small. Feeling confined within a way of living, your mind sees no logical way of breaking free from. Yet your soul continues to guide you forward. Your soul continues to light the way, and you feel a calling that is greater than your mind. A calling greater than your doubts. A calling, my child, greater than all you can comprehend.
Yet you feel it.
You know it to be true, do you not, my child?
Trust in this process. This process of change, of evolution within your soul, for much has been achieved, yet much is still to come.
May you be like the seed, child. Trust in the evolution of your soul. Trust that you are supported and trust your inner wisdom, that which continues to guide you forward and upward towards the light, towards your dreams.
Shine bright, dear one, until we connect together again.
