February is the month when we think of love. On the 14th of February, we celebrate St Valentine’s Day. Traditionally it is the romantic version of love that is celebrated on this day. However love has many facets and dimensions. As well as the romantic love between partners, there is also the love that a mother has for her children. In my family there are many children/ grandchildren of various ages and species (chickens, dogs, horses and humans). The dogs are the ones that most closely share my day to day life. They are indoors/ outdoors dogs and are with me around 90% of the time. They are working at getting this up to 100%. Lol. I have two that are more senior (and that I have been able to love on for longer) and two that are barely out of puppy stage (some days they are still very much in puppy stage). When I am with them, I get to experience life at its various ages and stages. My older dogs are both more work and less work than the younger ones. They are more work in that as they get older, they have more need of assistance with ageing and mobility issues. They are less work in that they are experienced and I’ve had more time to work with them over the years. So they know my ways and how I do things without me having to repeat myself too much. The younger ones are still sometimes finding their ‘feet’ so to speak. Yet the love that I have for the kids and that they have for me, is the basis of our relationship, regardless of their age and how long or short a time they have been with me.
Unfortunately a few of the fur kids that were in the family have now passed. However, the love that we shared continues to live on, long after the body is no longer here. One example of this is my mare, Doll. She is no longer with me in body, yet her spirit remains. We are all made up of love – yet often we forget how loved and loveable we are. That’s where animal companions come in. They remind us regularly just how loveable we truly are.
If you have no-one to love you, this Valentine’s Day, then love on yourself – celebrate yourself and how amazing you are. Buy yourself flowers. Take yourself out for coffee. Celebrate love in all it’s amazing forms. The Pet Energy Therapy Team sends you lots of love and the reminder of how truly loveable you are.
If you and your animal family member/s have lost that loving feeling this February, then book a session and let us help you find it again.
For February, there is a special deal on the 1 hour Animal Communication Sessions (online only). They are normally $160. If you book and pay by the 28/02/2025, you receive a 15% discount. This brings it to $136. The discount is automatically applied when you book.
When our animals misbehave, there is often a message there for us. Sometimes that can be hard to see. That’s where a Pet Energy Therapy Session helps. Pet Energy Therapy is about helping you to communicate better with your furred companion. The advantage is that you then also start to communicate better in every aspect of your life – not just with your animals.
