Posture, positivity and possibilities by Andrew Dudek

“Dream the impossible dream…this is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a feather bed…”

~ Terence McKenna

Imagine, if you will, a world in which everybody’s mobile phone transformed into your own fun-filled therapeutic treatment game modality!

The astonishing Dr Lund Sox trembles momentarily. He’s been asked a crunch question – what brings you to tears, and why?

A beat. Time stops but a tear is shed. It traces a path down Lund’s cheek, then stains his lap in silent purpose.

In that drop is the man’s universe. A hydrated essence of life’s dreams, work, hopes, trials, glories, triumphs and adventures. Past, present, future. Pure undiluted love. Lund is exalted, redeemed. He’s going to answer the question.

His detailed resume would literally fill a suitcase. Rockstar. Writer. Doctor. Professional athlete. Dancer extraordinaire. Violinist and musician. Author of children’s stories. Employee at Goldman Sachs. Singer and songwriter. Producer. Loving Husband to Lia, ( ‘my wife, my reason’ ). A vessel of unconditional compassion.  Healer. Inventor of Positure.

Aka ‘Jac Dalton’ (his rock persona) Lund has performed to mega crowds in over a hundred countries, including an LA Olympic Games opening ceremony. He could name drop a “Who’s Who of the Rich and Shameless” but to Lund, our poor, our homeless are equally divine, sentient beings deserving daily benediction, reverence and respect.

A Chiropractor for twenty seven years, advanced degrees, diplomas and gratitude filled testimonials adorn the walls of his modest Adelaide clinic. Now comes his answer.

“My whole life’s mission was burnt into my heart by my beautiful father when I was five years old.” Lund’s golden North Carolinian voice is melodious, songful, calming.

“We camped a lot and Dad always made us clean up the messes left by other campers. One day I asked him why I should be doing this when it wasn’t my mess.

He said: “Son, because, right now, you’re the one person standing close enough, with the ability, to make a difference.”

In that moment, at the age of five, I thought…whoaaaa!! My whole life’s mission was born and defined.”

Another beat. Tears wiped. Question answered.

Rewind to 2012 – when exasperated colleague and kindred soul, Fiona Revolta, inquired if there’s anything at all in the world that might prevent her kids from hunching over their ipads. Lund responds that he knows of nothing. But in that same moment, the concept of Positure is born!

Fast forward to 2026. Lund and his team are releasing Positure to the whole wide world.

POSITURE. It’s the union of two words – Positive and Posture. But it could also be technically summed up with another word – WOW!

Chiropractors know about the importance of posture but Dr Lund also knows about the magical, alchemical power of a positive mindset and attitude.

And at a beguiling 68 years of age (“it’s only mileage!”) Lund’s young, vibrant looks and vitality makes men in their 40’s blush.

“Professionally, scientifically, spiritually, we saw the concerns that our marvellous handheld devices and smartphones can cause – in terms of their ability to disrupt our natural behaviours, brain functioning and mood, and their contribution towards addiction.

“By retasking the devices already in our hands, Positure basically helps to re-boot the body-mind-spirit connection, improving the negative physical and behavioural aspects of prolonged usage and increasing dependence on these devices.”

It’s so damned ingenious, bold, visionary, radical and innovative. Team Positure is about to turn Tragic into Magic. And revolutionise the world as we know it. It’s a brand new paradigm of games galore, therapies and treatment modalities…all rolled into one – simultaneously ready for everyone to experience via our own devices!

The scope of this story cannot do justice to the monumental body of work that is Positure. Erudite HB readers, however, will start their own deeper dives by clicking HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Positure is the mind-blowing culmination of millions of invested dollars and collaborations, hours of sweat, medical and academic research and 12 years and tears of pain, toil and joy. Lund humbly bows and pays tribute to some of his team: towering medical and scientific stalwarts like Professor Mellick Chehade and Dr Paul Noone. The technical and creative geniuses at Monkeystack ( monkeystack.com.au. ). God’s own Dream Weaver, Emmy Award winning cinematographer Zoran Paovic. And Flinders University of South Australia studies that have demonstrated a whopping 93% improvement in posture and calming amongst kids playing the games!

Lund’s humility is hardwired to his DNA.

“I am but the dreamer inspiring the geniuses who have done all the work. And it is they who need to be celebrated.”

When inevitably a film is one day made about Positure, its genre will nudge the parameters of science fiction, so fantastic is its premise and vision.

Lund’s excitement is factual not fanciful. “Imagine a world where some of our prescriptions and medicines could be digital, non-invasive, and individualised, without drug interactions or side effects. And the process is fun!

Lund unpacks the complex genius of Positure into language we can all understand. “Everyone’s brain is made up of the same general parts. Positure helps restore our overall functioning of them to something akin to ‘factory settings’.

“And Positure is addressing this as a worldwide need, not a gratuitous want.

“The technology we have miraculously stumbled into works to decrease the addictive nature of our wonderful handheld devices.

“Brains seem to work better with our technology – enabling our humanity to calmly shine through all the manic digital distractions.

“Few to this point have considered making digital interactions healthier for us. In order for both technology and life to succeed and perpetuate, these needs must coincide. That is what Positure does.

“Every single person in the world can have the results of our life’s work – something that truly helps and improves the human part of our technological existence – available in their hands, all the time, in every country for less than the cost of a cup of coffee.

“One of the most unexpected and promising aspects of our research has been the feedback coming from teachers, counsellors and parents introducing our games to autistic family members. They report that short sessions (10-15 minutes) seem to provide noticeable calm for quite a while afterwards”

Lund is in “dream mode” again. He’s painting another Positure Picture.

“As this becomes substantiated, there could be calmer classrooms. Less stressed mealtimes and bedtimes.  A better way to handle outbursts. More quality family time.

And oh, the possibilities from there!”

Watch this epic, historic space! Lund‘s soul is revealed in a final, prolonged sigh of satisfaction. He’s all misty eyed, and his face beams with the innocence of a child who cannot contain this much bursting joy!

Positure is the flame he’s holding and handing up to humanity. We sense his dad, wife, and ancestors stand strong, tall and proud beside him.

There’s that tremor of truth in his voice again. “Now we can all share this opportunity to help make the worldwide difference my dad imparted to me.”

The good Dr Lund Sox and his Dad are absolutely right! We’re all campers passing through this earthly realm. Positure may well become one of human kind’s most positive and powerful pathways. Lund and his team have just put a “universal key” in our collective hands. Literally.
