The Heart of Your Business Still Matters by Lyndi MacRae

Build a strategy that reflects your purpose and values

Can we talk about something that doesn’t get spoken about enough?

That quiet feeling when your business looks fine on the outside…
But inside, it feels slightly off.

You’re still showing up.
You’re still working with clients.
You’re still doing what needs to be done.

But it doesn’t feel as light as it once did.

That’s usually not because you need a better strategy.

It’s because you’ve drifted, just a little, from the heart of why you started.

And it happens so easily.

You adjust your wording so it sounds more polished.
You reshape an offer because someone says it will “sell better.”
You say yes when it’s almost aligned.

Nothing dramatic. Just small shifts.

But over time, those small shifts can move you away from yourself.

And often, the place you feel it most… is inside your offers.

I remember a time in my own business where everything technically “worked.”

Clients were coming in.
Revenue was steady.
On paper, it looked successful.

However, I felt tired when I talked about my offers.

Not physically tired. Energetically tired.

I had shaped parts of my messaging to sound more strategic. More acceptable. More like what I thought a “proper” business should say.

And in doing that, I’d trimmed away some of the very things that made my work powerful.

It wasn’t dramatic.
It was subtle.

I could feel it.
So I paused.

I simplified.
I removed what wasn’t fully aligned.
And I rebuilt from what felt true.

That decision didn’t shrink my business.

It strengthened it.

And it made my offers easier to deliver, not just easier to sell.

Here’s what I know now.

Your purpose is not fluffy.
It’s not optional.
It’s not something you revisit once you’ve “made it.”

It’s the anchor.

When your business is built on your values, things feel cleaner.

You know what to say.
You know who you’re for.
You know what you won’t compromise on.

And your offers reflect that.

They become clearer.

Simpler.

Easier to stand behind.

And people feel that.

People don’t just understand what you do.
They resonate with you.

That’s the shift from trust to true alignment.

If something has felt slightly heavy lately, maybe this is your invitation to check in.

  • Does my current offer still feel like me?
  • Am I creating from inspiration or obligation?
  • Have I diluted my message to make it easier for others to accept?

You don’t need to overhaul everything.

But you may need to realign.

Because the way you build now determines how your business feels to run later.

Inside my Sacred Profitable Marketing Mentoring, this is where we begin.
