Have you felt a bit wonky lately? One moment full of energy, the next run down? Struggling to sleep even when you’re knackered? Or having the feeling that something is shifting but can’t quite put your finger on it?

That’s August energy. It’s intense, emotional, and intensely activating. It’s not in here to confuse you. It’s in here to nudge you into awareness of what is no longer serving you and push you back into alignment. Heart

We start the month off with Mercury retrograde in Leo that finishes on the 11^{th of} August, not to mention the 4 other retrogrades happening at the same time. That can mean communication failures, technology failures, and inner stress. Don’t worry about Mercury retrograde, though. It is a time to slow down, look inward, and go back to being your true self. Leo has a little bit of heart energy, and the question is, are you revealing your true self or playing a role? Especially with Chiron retrograde the wounded healer, that will highlight your authenticity.

9th August at 5:54 PM AEST, we have a Full Moon in Aquarius (the humanitarian). This moon gives insight, release, and illumination. This is looking at the bigger picture, we instead of I.   You might feel a deep need to get away from something that is constricting or something old. Emotions can escalate fast and then just as quickly vanish. Aquarius asks us to honour our own path, regardless of how unique it looks compared to others’ visions.

At 4:06 PM AEST on 23 August, the New Moon in Virgo gives us calm and focus. Virgo energy helps us get our space, routines, and health into order. It’s a good time to make clear intentions. You don’t have to do it all now. Pick one thing and commit to it with love. This moon supports shifting in real life and in everyday magic.

There are no eclipses in August but there are in September, so we have room to work intentionally with what’s rising. The absence of eclipse drama gives us the chance to make decisions with more clarity and less craziness.

You’ll be hearing a lot about the Lionsgate Portal on 8 August. Here’s the truth. There is no cosmic event taking place that day in actual fact on the 8^th the sun isn’t even in Leo it’s in Cancer. It’s symbolic, not starry. But symbols are potent when we apply them with awareness. The number eight in numerology is about abundance, power, and mastery of self. With Leo season, 8 August is a great time to make powerful intentions and take your light. You are the portal. Your choice is the activation.

This year’s 8 August sits in an eight universal month during a nine universal year. That’s a potent mix. Eight brings alignment, prosperity, and higher purpose. Nine brings endings and closing out of old cycles. This combination urges us to clear what’s holding us back and act toward what’s true. It’s supportive energy if you’re willing to move with it, not resist it.

Sit quietly and breathe into your heart centre while envisioning a beam of pure white light expanding within you. With focused intention and heartfelt gratitude let that energy merge with the Creator’s light and elevate your vibration.
