Finding Peace In The Transformation of Self, Others and The Planet by Trish Rock

Can you imagine if the caterpillar was in fear, fighting the process, resisting the changes and metamorphosis, and feeling out of alignment with his transformation into a butterfly?

I doubt the transformation would occur. And if by some miracle it did, would it be the pure energy and miracle of the butterfly we have come to know and love?

In nature, you can find millions of examples of the peace and harmony that exists, creating with more ease and strength.

Why then as humans, does it take deliberate consciousness and awareness to firstly recognise this peace, let alone be it?

I see for so many of us, life turns to autopilot as we become busy with life, children, work and simply building the life we desire. When this energy is at play it is very easy to fall into the collective consciousness and fears. Along with the fact that humans have been controlled by fear and manipulation for millennia.

I feel in recent times, more people are looking at what is most important to them and what gives them joy. The slowing down of life has created space for people to ask different questions and to explore new possibilities.

The world is undergoing massive transformation as we shift to new perspectives, more feminine based energies, and a new way of co-existing with the planet and each other.

On an individual level you are also in a transformative process, that you may be aware of or not. Your frequency is rising and with that, you are feeling less aligned with the old, searching or feeling into alignment with the new.

I see a lot of people trying to find peace within themselves by looking in the external and demanding change of others, or the world. This creates an endless cycle of frustration, anger and pain that will never bring peace.

Peace must begin within each of us. By finding that peaceful resonance within daily, and then being that during your day, is what will truly enhance any transformation you are going through in your life. On a bigger scale it will assist the global energy of peace.

We are what we experience.

Change from the inside. The work is internal. And only you can change and transform your BEing. No one can do it for you, and you cannot change another.

Simply coming to peace and acceptance with that truth will set you on your way to more love, joy and connection and less frustration, stress, and fear.

And to be clear here – the external circumstances do not have to change for you to change how you feel. Peace within is a choice, a feeling, non-dependant on anything outside of you.

Pause and Breathe

Take a moment now to be still. Close your eyes if you can. Take a long slow breath in and consciously feel it as it comes into your nose, travels down your throat passages into your lungs, and expanding them. Now consciously follow the breath out as it comes back from your lungs up the throat passages and out your mouth or nose.

Do this slowly 3 times.

This simple exercise will bring you a sense of peace in that moment. Start there and then go to that inner peace often.

With practise you will feel more peace within, no matter what is happening outside of you.

This will help you transform your life with more ease, joy and love. The people around you and the planet will benefit too.
