Debbie WebberI am proud to introduce myself, Debb Webber, owner of Zen Chi Natural Therapies & Holistic Wellness Centre at North Lakes, Brisbane, Qld.
From a very early age, I had feelings to help others suffering from pain, either emotional, dis-ease, physical ailments, and the like. Just by providing my ears to listen, my heart to hold space for others to release their emotional feelings which in turn helped to release their physical symptoms.
At the age of 17 years old, my hearing started to deteriorate due to a brittle bone disease which I was born with. I then knew that I didn’t need my ears to listen, my heart did that for me. My intuition heightened and I was able to serve others in such a more loving, compassionate and empathetic way.
Whilst working at the lawyers, I completed qualifications in Level I, II and Master levels of Reiki, Diploma in Remedial Massage, Diploma in Kinesiology, Certificate in Reflexology, Certificate in Ear Candling, Levels I & II Crystal Healing and RESET. Over my years in the corporate world, I practised my healing modalities on humans and animals either in the workplace, or through my mobile healing business.
The call for following my passion and path after 19 years working within the corporate field became stronger and stronger, and visualisations of starting a healing clinic was starting to manifest.
After leaving the lawyers at exactly 20 years of service, I started working in North Lakes as a Remedial Massage therapist. The owners there could see and feel my potential and passion for helping others in more ways than just massaging physical ailments and asked to join forces for starting a new clinic.
On 28 June 2008, Zen Chi was born starting our healing sanctuary with 3 other partners. Within 4 months myself and another partner became the sole directors of the company.
Today Zen Chi has over 16 practitioners working within her walls and offers more than 30 different holistic and natural therapy services. As we continue to grow, we will continue to offer high quality approaches for anyone seeking a holistic option for their health. The clients are a number one priority for me and my team at Zen Chi. They take the time to listen carefully to your needs so the best treatment options are offered.
I love that we really make a difference in people’s lives, and with today’s changing environment, I see how important Zen Chi has become to so many of our clients. The Natural Therapies Industry is growing, and if you goggle “natural therapies” in your suburb, you will have plenty of choices for alternative and complementary approaches to health.
After 13 and a half years in operation, I have seen the number of Lifestyle Wellness Centres grow within North Lakes – many promoting a relaxing experience. However, my goal of creating a “one stop” premium holistic health care clinic in North Lakes was, and still is, about making a difference in people’s lives. And I have done this by surrounding myself with a team of caring practitioners who each take a holistic, individualistic approach, when dealing with the clients who walk through the door at my Natural Therapy Centre in the Evergreen Centre on the Northside of Brisbane.
From Remedial Massage, to Acupuncture, Beauty, Bowen Therapy, Reflexology and Psychic readings, just to name a few, Zen Chi offers plenty of different approaches for anyone seeking a holistic option for their health.
