Feeling of change has been in the air, along with warming days.
Movement and shifts from unexpected directions, constantly surprising and delighting in different forms.
Sometimes we are led to make changes, in ways that are almost effortless.
When we let go of the reigns, it can feel scary, as if we have no control.
For some of us, this can seem almost alien but also much needed respite from our busy minds.
Something that has been showing up lately has been the urge to release and declutter.
For those of you not familiar, decluttering is defined as removing unnecessary items from an environment.
Physically, this can involve some of the following areas:
– Self
– Home
– Car/Vehicles
– Office
– Surroundings/Yard/Garden
You may look around your house and see things that had been sitting for some time and realise you may not require it anymore.
This can lead to organising charity bags, selling used goods (or even unused, never opened goods) online, garage sales or giving away to those that can use those items.
Our eyes can be opened to what we’ve been holding onto and that it’s time to let go of or make some changes.
Sounds straight forward yet can be quite confronting in practice.
On the surface, this is what we first see and can understand logically.
Can make our brains happy or it can also induce feelings of anxiety, sadness, grief and many other emotions.
Diving deeper, we can then take this process to the non-physical environment.
To declutter your emotional and mental states, your spiritual practices, beliefs and programs, it’s about looking at what you’ve been holding onto, what is still serving you and what is now ready to be released.
This is where you can take a step back, allowing your emotions to rise and accepting where you are at, in this moment.
Not trying to change anything but allowing the changes to flow where they will.
Following on from this, we expand our view and look at what we may not have been conscious of.
Another element that ties everything together.
And that’s ENERGY.
ENERGY is what everything is made of, that connects us with every living person, animal, plant in the world and beyond.
ENERGY is what the Universe is made of and permeates our world but is so obvious, it’s often overlooked.
And as everything holds energy, when we declutter in any form, we are physically removing something from our lives, we are also changing the energy that goes with that.
Want to change something in your life?
Decluttering is one way to get the energy moving and shifting.
You may not be fully aware of why you are taking certain actions, yet your soul does, and you are asked to listen.
Change doesn’t have to be hard and when we allow the flows to come in and sweep away the old, we can be left with more joy and peace.
