Stepping Into Your Authentic Self: My Journey with Channelled Writing by Vikki Speller

Have you ever had a quiet, consistent feeling that it’s time to step into more of who you are? For me, that has been my work with trance mediumship, channelled writing and spirit art.

It’s something I have practised for many years. A space where I have learnt to sit in stillness, to trust what comes through, and to allow the wisdom of spirit to be expressed without needing to fully understand it in the moment. It has always felt very personal, sacred and deeply meaningful.

And yet, sharing this part of my work more openly has felt like a significant step.

Being part of the upcoming Bliss Book, where I will be sharing my channelled writing, feels both exciting and vulnerable. It’s one thing to receive messages in the quiet of your own space, sharing them only with friends, family or clients, and another to allow those words to be seen, read and felt by the wider community.

Leading up to this, I’ve noticed a mix of emotions arise. There has been excitement, but also moments of hesitation. Thoughts around how it will be received and questions about whether it will be fully understood, alongside a quiet awareness of stepping into something more visible than before.

This experience is not only about sharing my work with spirit, but also about allowing myself to be seen more fully. And I know this is something many can relate to.

There often comes a time when we feel called to express a deeper part of who we are. It might be a creative gift, a spiritual practice, a new direction, or simply speaking more honestly about what we feel or believe. Yet even when we feel that inner pull, it can be met with doubt, uncertainty or the desire to stay in what feels safe.

Through this process, I’ve been reminded that growth doesn’t always feel comfortable. Sometimes it asks us to move beyond the edges of what we’ve known and to trust that what we carry within us has value.

Working as a channell has taught me a lot about this. It requires letting go of control, releasing expectation and allowing something deeper to come through. In many ways, it mirrors how we are being asked to show up in our lives, with authenticity.

My hope in sharing this work is not only to offer insight through the messages themselves, but to gently encourage others to trust their own inner voice. To recognise that what feels natural, meaningful or even slightly different about you may be the very thing that is meant to be expressed.

Next month, I will be sharing a channelled piece, and I look forward to opening that space.

For now, this feels like an important step moving forward, showing up more fully and trusting that it is safe to do so.

If you are navigating your own path of growth, self-trust or stepping into a new version or yourself, this is the kind of work I hold space for within my Awaken Your Magic Signature Coaching Program, supporting women to reconnect with who they truly are and move forward with clarity and confidence.

With love and gratitude,
