Olive Green
The colour olive reminds us that as we let go of the bitterness of the past, we may find sweetness of spirit. Much like the olive tree that bears fruit that is bitter when first picked, it needs to go through a process of soaking and marinating with just the right amount of salt to turn its bitterness into something sweet and edible. This hope and optimism for ‘sweetness’ is contained in olive.
From an Aura-Soma perspective, olive expresses the feminine aspect of ourselves – the female leadership of the heart. It is in our heart that we may find trust in our intuition, which in turn is guided by our awareness (green) and clarity (yellow) which come together as olive green.
Olive also reminds us of the joy of finding our own space and making space for ourselves.
