Rebecca-LeeHi everyone, welcome to this month’s article in the Lover Archetype series where I have been sharing how we have different levels of intimacy in each chakra, and if we are moving from karmic soul mate connections where we seem to be repeating the same patterns and are having the same experiences in love all the time, we need to unlock all these levels of intimacy in each chakra and start connecting on many more levels in love if we want to transcend karmic patterns and move into divine love.
We do this through focusing on the blocks in each chakra, and working through various themes in life and where our soul gets blocked. Once we release these blocks, we not only raise our consciousness, but we open our capacity to give and receive love in far more different frequencies than ever before.
I have been describing all the different levels of love through the year in Holistic Bliss. All of us have one or two strong chakras where we seem to function more strongly from. This means that we have a certain way of how we give and receive love. This doesn’t mean we are all doing this in a high vibrational way, but it seems to be where we function the best, or automatically.

Now lets get into the archetype of this month!!
We focus on the ninth chakra – The Soul Star Lover.
Those who love strongest from the 9th chakra are those who are here on this earth with a strong soul mission. Anyone who enters their field, particularly in love is here to show them some strong soul lessons (usually the karmic soul mate loves), then, once you have done some work, the person you are ultimately with is here under a very specific contract to support your divine soul mission.
For the Soul Star lover, they know within themselves that their love relationship is destined. Whether they have it now or are still waiting for it. They know the person that they are destined to be with transcends time and space. Whoever they know they are to be with their love holds a higher purpose.
The ninth chakra represents the soul’s journey and evolution, and in love, the Soul Star Lover embodies the energy of divine wisdom and purpose. If you have a strong ninth chakra and are a Soul Star Lover the strongest, you are someone who carries an innate understanding that love is not just an earthly experience, but a cosmic one, intertwining soul contracts, past lives, and future incarnations.
Connection to Purpose
At the heart of the Soul Star Lover is a deep connection to divine purpose. You are here to discover and align yourself with the greater mission of your soul, which goes beyond the present lifetime.
In relationships, this archetype seeks partners who share a similar sense of purpose, ideally someone who also feels the weight of their soul’s journey. The Soul Star Lover craves depths, not just in emotional or intellectual connection but in spiritual alignment.
If you feel lost in love or disconnected, it might be because your relationship lacks this essential spiritual bond. You are not satisfied by surface-level connections and may feel restless in relationships that don’t support your higher calling.
Challenges of the Soul Star Lover
One of the primary challenges of someone who is strongly in their ninth chakra (The Soul Star Lover) is feeling isolated or misunderstood. Since you operate from a cosmic level mostly, it can be difficult to find others who understand your spiritual vision. You may feel alienated in a world that prioritises material success and temporary pleasures over eternal truths. This disconnection can cause feelings of loneliness or frustration as you navigate relationships and social structures that don’t align with your soul’s higher mission.
Another challenge is that the Soul Star Lover can sometimes become too focused on the spiritual realm, neglecting the practicalities of human relationships. It’s easy for you to get lost in philosophical or mystical pursuits and forget that, while you are a soul on a journey, you are also here to experience love in its human form. Grounding yourself in your physical experiences and remembering that both the earthly and the cosmic realms are vital, is a key lesson for the Soul Star Lover.
Healing and Growth through the Ninth Chakra
Working with the ninth chakra involves understanding the vastness of your soul’s journey and bringing that understanding into your everyday life. Healing for the Soul Star Lover comes from recognising that you are both a spiritual and a human being. You are here not only to fulfill a cosmic purpose but also to engage in human experiences, including love, relationships, and connection.
To grow, you must learnt to balance these two aspects of your existence. Meditation, spiritual practices and energy work can help you connect more deeply with your soul’s purpose, but grounding exercises – like spending time in nature or connecting with loves ones are equally important to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Relationships and the Soul Star Lover
You thrive when you can share a mutual spiritual path with your partner, and that spirituality can be integrated and weaved into your daily life, social circle and conversations. You must remember however, that your partner may not be as dedicated or as spiritual as you, and at times you must allow yourself more earthly experiences and conversations. You do need to feel a shared sense of destiny or a feeling that you and your partner are meant to accomplish something together on a soul level.
However, and I can not emphasise this enough for you, your relationships can suffer if you neglect your partner’s earthly needs in favour of your spiritual pursuits. It is essential to learn how to be present and grounded in your relationships, providing the same kind of love and attention to your partner that you give to your spiritual work. Remember, their purpose may be to help keep your feet on the ground occasionally. Let them do their job!
Remember that while your soul’s journey is vast and you may have a mission you are driven to achieve, your relationships here and now also matter. By grounding yourself in the present while staying connected to your spiritual essence, you can experience the true depth of love that spans both worlds.
