When I am working with clients, one of the first things I create is a sense of peace, safety, and love. They know they are being heard, they become calmer and can really breathe and relax.
For some clients, this is a feeling they have not been able to achieve for some time. Filled with anxiety, stress, mind chatter and exhaustion from it all!
One of my long-term clients and now friend, started off like this in a session with me. Coming for a card reading, I could sense really that her mind simply needed calming and peaceful energy, so that the decisions she was in chaos about would become clearer and easier to flow into.
I have an innate ability to create a beautiful space of peace and calm, where the experience is often more powerful than the reading or the holistic counselling.
So many people are in a chaotic mind right now. A reflection of a chaotic world but also a sign that more deliberate ways to create peace in their lives is vital.
Why is more peace in your life helpful?
Here are 3 ways to embody more peace in your life and reap the benefits.
- Morning Rituals.
A simple self-care and calming routine in the morning will help you embody peace all day long in all you do.
Starting the day like this, helps you cope with whatever comes along.
My ritual is to sit where I can see outside, sip on a beautiful cup of Sacred Cacao and breathe in the beauty and calm of it all. Some days I journal. Some days I cuddle my dog. Some days I daydream.
Whatever it is you choose to do to set your day for peace, make it a priority and make it count.
- Oils and Sprays
I love using essential oils and clearing sprays to keep my energy and mind calm.
My favourites are frankincense, white sage, lavender, peppermint and Ylang Ylang. Use them as perfume or even put a few drops into your hands, rub and smell.
Find what works for you and use it daily. They are a powerful tool to have with you day and night and will keep your energy more peaceful, enabling you to make better decisions and stay in flow.
- Acceptance and Presence
I find that acceptance is one of the most challenging for people but also the most rewarding. I wrote an article about it here: The Art of Acceptance
Many times, the lack of peace you are experiencing is due to the old stories about things you are not in acceptance of yet. You are in the past or the future, in worry and stress about what has happened, and what may be about to happen.
Presence, being in the now moment, along with the acceptance of where you are and who you are, now, in this moment, will bring you so much peace and clarity it will astound you. All you have is now. Once you find peace with that, your life will change.
Put at least one of these tools into action this week and feel the difference.
