Animal Wellness: Sharing Kindness with Charity By Dr Elaine Cebuliak

Paws 4 Art is happening in the shed next door to our clinic, Animal Wellness, every Friday from 1-4 pm. You can join a session with our artist in residence, Esther Hill with a variety of fun & easy art classes on offer, you are bound to find something to excite and inspire.

We are delighted to share that our community projects help our third world fundraising work and bring vets, vet nurses, vet students and the general community together with some quality learning and relaxing/bonding time.

Our LATEST project is taking place in a remote island south of Bali- we are encouraging a cleaning up of the beaches and working with locals to recycle and reuse plastic waste. We have produced a book to help the locals make ecobricks, and are planning a scholarship reward for those that have made the most ecobricks to build a garden. Our choir teacher friend and other interested friends are going over this month to give out these awards. We welcome others to join us in this important mission, it will be enjoyable to see especially the creativity of the kids. 

We have written some songs and chants to go into the book for the kids. Here is one (we hope it inspires you to come to our art classes and donate to sponsor a kid for their future education!)

Here’s a chant that kids can use while making ecobricks:

Ecobricks, ecobricks, let’s go!

We’re gonna save the planet, don’t you know?
