Are we creating from a place of love or fear? By Sal Holden

Love or Fear?

I truly love asking myself this question and to be honest I’ve really needed to refocus my energy, time and time again over the last few months, to come back to a place of love.

In different seasons of life, we all go through different challenges, different adversities and things we need to face, both within ourselves and externally and whilst I absolutely believe that everything in life happens for a reason, it can be really challenging to create stability, when things feel all over the place and wave after wave keeps knocking you off centre.

If you’re in that place right now, I feel you sister and I’m sending you big hugs and love.

And when challenge after challenge happens, it can end up wearing down our resilience, and our tenacity and I’m sure most people would agree with me, after what we’ve all experienced in the last 4 years…

And this is where I’ve personally found it so important to be consciously aware of what I’m focusing on, thinking about and feeling. Because it’s so easy to get bogged down in our fears, stresses, worries and challenges when we have had a lot going on and when we are feeling tired and exhausted from it all.

And what I’ve also experienced again and again is the moment I shift my energy from fear back to love, good things start to happen. The challenges don’t seem as big or insurmountable and we get back to believing in our dreams and goals and start to see immediate and positive changes in our external environment and in the actions we take.

This is what excites me most!!

It lights my heart up, and it brings through so much physical energy!!

It feels like pure alignment again.

Knowing and trusting in the universal laws and being able to surrender fears, concerns and worries, to truly come back to the joy in any moment.

So much of what I share with my clients is the tools and strategies on how to do exactly this, to switch from fear back to living from their heart and a place of love, fast and effectively and I share so many more of these tips and tools in my book “A Joyful Life.” (Available on Amazon & Audible)

The first 5 steps are:

  1. Notice when your energy dips, or you’re feeling lower emotionally.
  2. Become aware of what you’ve just been focusing on and thinking about and perhaps even saying to yourself.
  3. Ask yourself, “What would you like instead?”
  4. Ask yourself “How would you feel if this had already happened?”
  5. Notice what you feel inspired to do, from this new feeling state and follow through on the action.

The biggest challenge is where our beliefs may keep us sticky to the old fear-based situation and this is the deeper work I do with my clients, giving them the tools and strategies for life to shift their beliefs, realign themselves back to their hearts wisdom and create their greatest desires.
