Divine Appointments

Dearest Reader

Some of us are fortunate enough to experience what we call Divine Appointments here on Earth.
A meeting arranged for you by God.
An encounter with a specific person at a very specific time.
A message of importance, meant just for you, arriving at precisely the right moment.
Sometimes we meet someone and, at first, think it is simply coincidence. A chance meeting.
A conversation. A new connection that seems ordinary enough.
But then something happens.

The light switches on.
Suddenly, everything falls into place. Something that didn’t make sense before becomes clear.
A question you have been carrying quietly is answered. A piece of your life that seemed disconnected suddenly has meaning.
And you realise:… Perhaps I was meant to meet this person.
Divine Appointments don’t always arrive in the way we expect.
Sometimes they come through a stranger who says exactly what we need to hear.
Sometimes through a friend who enters our life at a pivotal moment, and sometimes through someone who challenges us, opens our heart, changes our direction or reminds us of who we truly are.

A Divine Appointment is not necessarily about what someone brings into our life — but about what they awaken within us.
Some of us encounter our Divine Appointment extending beyond this physical life.
There are people whose earthly journey comes to an end, yet somehow their presence, their words, their love or their message continues to find its way to us. Some people experience profound signs, dreams, synchronicities or unexpected moments after someone they love has passed. Others encounter a person after a bereavement who says or does something that feels remarkably timed.

Could these too be Divine Appointments?
Perhaps some souls complete their earthly purpose and then, in ways we may never fully understand, become part of another person’s journey from the other side.
Maybe not every meeting is meant to last a lifetime.
Maybe some people are sent to us for a season, a conversation, a lesson, a turning point — or simply to remind us that we are not alone.

And perhaps there are moments when we are the Divine Appointment in someone else’s life without ever knowing it.

A Conversation Appointment in Nowra NSW
I had dropped a parcel when Bianca, who was with her husband John, said,
“Oh John, go help that lady.” John came over, picked up my parcel, and what began as a simple act of kindness soon turned into a meaningful conversation. John shared with me the heart-breaking loss of his two siblings, and I found myself offering him words of comfort, kindness and hope. I couldn’t help but wonder afterwards — was this more than just a dropped parcel? Bianca encouraged John to help me, John picked up the parcel, and our paths crossed at exactly that moment. Perhaps it wasn’t a Divine Appointment that needed a grand explanation. Perhaps it was simply a conversation appointment — one person needing to hear a few words of hope, and another being there to give them reassurance..

Blessings Angel
We may never know the impact we have had in someone’s life. The next time someone unexpectedly crosses your path, pause for a moment. Notice the timing. Notice what they awaken in you. Notice what suddenly becomes clearer. Because sometimes life doesn’t shout its messages. Sometimes it simply places the right person in front of you at exactly the right time. And then, one day, the light switches on. Everything falls into place.
