For some, midlife may be a confusing phase as this is often a time of profound change on multiple levels, in our personal and working lives. These significant changes may, in part, be due to changes in our hormonal function (onset of perimenopause and menopause) such as weight gain, memory loss, night sweats, hot flushes, hair loss, fatigue, and anxiety just to name a few of the signs and symptoms of ‘THE CHANGE.’ This transition can be overwhelming and challenging for a vast majority of midlife women who are additionally navigating the general day-to-day obligations of life. It is important to nurture a sense of gratitude and compassion for ourselves and others who are journeying through this phase.
As we age, we may face challenges that test our spiritual beliefs and core values, and this especially becomes more discernible during the midlife phase where we are searching for clarity on our future and our life’s purpose. We may begin to seek deeper meaning and understanding of the world around us, the purpose in our lives, and to question our belief systems. If we can access the wisdom and transcendence that comes during this phase, we will then be able to face these challenges with more grace, clarity, and ease.
Balancing and aligning our Crown Chakra during these midlife challenges can play a pivotal role in helping us expand our soul’s awareness so that we can remember who we are and who we came here to be, all being part of the soul’s evolution and healing journey.

When the Crown Chakra is balanced, we may feel a deeper sense of connection to the universe and the divine, giving us a greater understanding of our life’s purpose, but when it is unbalanced, we are more likely to feel disconnected from the universal energy and have trouble connecting with our spiritual beliefs and practices.
