What is life all about?

This is an age-old question, and one that is full of doubt.

Is life a series of ups and downs?

Or a straight line from here to there

Or boxes of compartments to be sorted through, one after the other?

Life and how you walk your way through it, is up to you!

Though you may disagree that control does not belong to you

that may or may not be so.

But your perception of how you go, depends on your ability to tackle each of life’s tasks to the best that you know how.

And, at the end of each day you can say

No matter the day – I did my best.

And, achieved what I could with love and goodwill.

That’s all you need to do!

IN MY DREAMS (Evie D)

Tonight, we fly away free from the constraints of gravity

Lift your arms and up we go!

As we ascend, the earth becomes smaller below, until in a blink we reach the door that opens to the world of ‘Evermore’.

Here we play and run and jump for joy.

For we are home with friends and those gone before.

Such fun we have at ‘Evermore’.

Dancing and running so light and free, until the time signals to close the door.

And run we must, to slip through the door from ‘Evermore.’

And down we go like a blast of air.

Then we awake as if we were never there!

A dream you say – How lifelike it was.

As sleep starts to take us away, we smile and think

I’ll go there another day!
