Are you experiencing feelings of stress, anxiety, overwhelm or burnout? Do you have a chronic condition, or have you experienced a diagnosis and would like to be proactive in your recovery? Are you feeling frustrated with the existing medical system and worried that they are treating the symptoms and not yet at the root cause of a health concern? Remember the relationship you have with yourself will be the most important relationship you will ever have!
Would you like to feel more confident in sifting through the conflicting medical information and managing your health and wellbeing? Maybe you are asking yourself, “Why aren’t I better yet and what more can I do”? Or just like so many of my clients when they first started working with me, you too, feel like no one really understands what you are going through. You need to star prioritising your own needs before you can be your best self for others.
The relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for what you attract in other relationships and areas of your life. Therefore, working on your own self care is one of the best ways to improve your relationships with others and to attract the best kind of relationships into your life.
Investing in your own health and wellbeing will be the best investment you ever make.
5 Self-care tips to improve the relationship you have with yourself include:
1. Doing one thing you enjoy every day e.g. reading your favourite book, listening to music, having a square of dark chocolate, enjoying a bubble bath
2. Eat nourishing foods e.g. berries, leafy greens & turmeric
3. Include enjoyable movement every day e.g. dancing, yoga, swimming, Tai chi, hula hooping
4. Develop a growth mindset by listening to affirmations and journaling.
5. Still the “noise” – meditation and deep breathing are very beneficial to tame the monkey mind.
