My name is Sarah King. Sarah stems from the root of a word meaning princess, and I married into the King name. Despite the names and titles bestowed upon me. It has only been in the past few years that I have remembered my royal influence.
The Empress, she rules far and wide, her power so strong, she is dependent upon her decision-making effects the nations she rules.
To be of such power and embraced in her divine femininity, she wears her silks and robes, bathes in rose petal baths while having her roots grounded in the ancient earth.
The Empress evolved from a doe-eyed princess; she let the seasons sway her essence. The young princes would gallop into her nation, with the glitz and glamour to hide the power-hungry eyes, the princess of pure heart thought this was love, a breadcrumb of affection, a few sweet, sugar-coated words. The cloak of narcissistic behaviours swirled in the wind as her innocence convinced her this was the way life was lived.
The innocent princess grew into the Queen over time, worn down with responsibilities, the fractures of holding every other need and desire in her palms, watering them, nurturing them with her magical energy that she forgot she had needs and desires of her own. She would have sacrificed her soul to hold together the love that once was her drive. Those fragile strings holding the Queen together snapped. Her castle burnt to the ground. From far and wide, the smoke rose, the ashes danced in the wind, and the heat transformed solid to liquid.
As the people of the land gathered to watch the demise of the Queen. The shock on their faces apparent as she had transformed herself with the fire, with the ruins, within the destruction.
The Empress emerged. The fire now in her heart. She burned with the desire of a life half-lived. No longer. She took control of her Empire. She found her voice. She remembered herself. This was her life to live, and her heart was called to remind women of all nations that love is here in this world to be experienced. Yes, it is embedded into our bodies at a cellular level, and yet as the Empress, we are still the ruler of our sovereign self. We can love with our whole hearts, with our souls dancing in glee as we connect with previous soul mates, with a princess-like innocence. Love is here to be felt, lived, touched, heard, embraced, and yet it is when we experience love in our strength, power and softness of our divine feminine. When we have looked into the dark of our soul, and the light of the realms beyond description, we see that the Empress rules her nations with heart and soul aligned. Love hits differently. It is not the crown she hands over to another; it’s the crown she places on her own head.
