We’ve got this ~ even during a health crisis by Kim Morrison

Together, we have proven time and time again that we can overcome hardship and rise to support one another through all challenging and unknown times. And I would love to think that kindness is one of the most beautiful health boosters of all alongside a good human spirit, that I am sure you would agree, can outshine anything and everything, and help those in need.

Here are a few recipes that I think will make life a little easier and help to keep us safe and calm. These are recipes which I am using and would love to share with you, I really hope they help.

Antiseptic Hand Sanitiser

125ml Aloe Vera Gel
50ml Colloidal Silver
3 drops Tea Tree
3 drops Lemon
3 drops Lavender
3 drops Eucalyptus

Mix together into a glass jar and rub all over the hands after washing them to keep bacteria and bugs at bay. Apply after touching new surfaces or when out in public and before eating.

Immune Boosting Diffuser Blend

2 drops Tea Tree
2 drops Lavender
2 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Lemon

Add oils to a diffuser with water. You can use this blend in the living areas and bedrooms. You might like to make it 1 drop of tea tree, eucalyptus and lemon and 5 drops lavender in the evening to support sleep. Always make sure there is ventilation when diffusing.

Antibacterial Shower Pellets

5 drops Tea Tree or Manuka
5 drops Eucalyptus
5 drops Lemon
5 tbsp Baking Soda
5 tsp Water (can add a little more or less if required)

Mix all ingredients together to form a thick paste. Place about a teaspoon of the mixture into ice cube trays and place in the freezer.

When you hop into the shower next place a face washer over the plug and one of the pellets onto the face washer. The water from the shower will activate and melt the pellet and the antiseptic oils will be released. Alternatively, you can use a couple of pellets into your bath if you prefer.

Chest and Sinus Relieving Inhalation

2 drops Lavender
1 drop Tea Tree
1 drop Orange

Place a towel in the bottom of your kitchen or bathroom sink. Fill a stainless steel or glass bowl with very hot water and place on top of the towel to keep it from moving and spilling. Place the 4 drops of this blend or the amazing immune boost synergy blend into the water. Place a towel over your head and bowl, close your eyes and breathe long deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth 4 times. Then swap in through the mouth and out through the nose 4 times. Do a couple of rounds of this ritual to support your respiratory system.

 Immune Boosting Massage Blend

100ml Carrier Oil (like Sweet Almond, Macadamia, Apricot Kernel, Jojoba etc)

5 drops Eucalyptus
7 drops Lavender
5 drops Tea Tree
5 drops Lemon
3 drops Sandalwood

Mix all together and use as a back, neck, chest and foot massage blend. You can add a few sprays of Magnesium Health Spray to support cell communication and immune function. You could omit the carrier oil and add this 2 drops of each oil into 150ml of milk if you would like to use as an immune boosting bath blend.

Keep Calm & Carry On Diffuser Blend

2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Myrrh
2 drops Orange
2 drops Lavender

Place this blend into your diffuser to help create a more calm and settled energy in the home or work place.

Now I appreciate I have absolutely no power, insight, idea or ability to stop this world-wide epidemic but I do hope that these tips can give some hope, support and ability to take care of yourself and each other even better, in particular around taking responsibility for your well-being in your own home. Much love.

Take care, be kind! Kim xx
