My client, Sarah, a 49-year-old woman, came to me suffering from severe anxiety, fatigue, immune system problems, and digestive issues that had persisted for years. Sarah was a diligent person who put immense effort into her health. She carefully selected organic food, read labels and spent hours preparing nutritious meals. She religiously took vitamins, minerals, and supplements prescribed by a naturopath. Yet, despite her best efforts, her health continued to decline.
On our first visit, I asked Sarah to close her eyes and visualize the image of herself that she held in her consciousness. I emphasized that she needed to be completely honest about what she saw. After a few moments of silence, she started describing her vision. She saw herself as weak, disempowered, and even “crippled.” She saw herself crying most of the time, suffering with no way out.
After seven minutes, she opened her eyes. I gently asked her, “Isn’t what you saw what you are creating? Regardless of what you eat and the vitamins you take, you are still creating a ‘sick’ version of yourself.”
Tears welled up in her eyes as she softly said, ‘Yes, it looks that way.”
I explained, “Your problem isn’t the food or the physical things you put into your body. Your problem is the energy created by your thoughts and attitudes about yourself and your life. You need to change that—change your energy, your self-perception, and your beliefs about yourself.”
At first, Sarah struggled with the idea. When I asked her to imagine a healthier, happier version of herself, she found it difficult. But I insisted. I guided her to push past her resistance and truly see herself in a different light. Finally, she was able to visualize a better version of herself—stronger, more vibrant, and joyful. That moment was a turning point.
We then created a long-term plan focusing on transforming her self-image, shifting her energy, and reshaping her perception of herself and her life. Sarah committed to this plan for 30 days. When she returned after a month, she was a different person. She looked healthier, her digestive problems had disappeared, her immune system was stronger, and most importantly, she felt happy and empowered.
One of the most surprising realizations she shared was that, as she worked on changing her energy, she naturally let go of her attachments to food, vitamins, and minerals. She no longer obsessed over them, as if they were the only things keeping her healthy. Instead, she recognized that her well-being was rooted in her self-perception and the energy she projected.
Conclusion: Health is not just about physical things like food and supplements. It is deeply connected to the way you see yourself, the role you believe you play in this life, and your attitudes toward yourself and the world. True healing happens when you shift your thoughts and energy, allowing your body to align with a healthier version of yourself.
