You’ve Got This — Because You Always Did

Why empowerment isn’t given — it’s remembered.

Every now and then, a card reveals itself, stopping us mid-chaos, mid-self-doubt. Recently, while pulling my private group’s weekly card, the nudge was so persistent that I had to share more widely.

The card – You’ve Got This!

And I can sense the breath holding. Let me assure you, this card is not a glitter-dusted affirmation. It’s grounded truth. It’s true empowerment. And that nudge brought forward two messages: empowered indifference and the word Restore.

Restore is returning to our centre — to the truth we buried under noise. And this card revealed how empowered indifference becomes a clean pathway to that centre.

This isn’t the apathetic, ‘I don’t care about anything’ version of indifference. It’s the Stoic, soul-led version kind – the kind that frees you from carrying what was never yours. 

Empowered indifference is the Elegant Rebel® way of saying: Not my circus. Not my emotional rent to pay. It’s Restore in motion.

Empowerment is within you

One of this card’s magical truths is: empowerment isn’t external – it rises from lineage, lived experience, boundaries and grace.

The a-ha moment is when we move from seeking empowerment to recognising it already lives within us. And when we cease giving our power away, the noise clears and our own inner knowing speaks clearly saying you’ve got this.

Empowered indifference is also the antidote to toxic positivity. It asks us to discern:

• Does this deserve my energy?
• Is this mine to carry?
• What does my inner knowing say?

And most importantly: What happens when I trust myself first?

These are the exact questions I gently guide clients through until they become second nature. Gentle. Consistent. Unapologetic.

Small practices. Big shifts.

Restore isn’t grand. It’s built through tiny, consistent acts:

• Speak one truth out loud each day.
• Honour one boundary with kindness.
• Replace one doubt with a neutral truth.
• Make one micro-decision from your inner knowing.
• Ask: is this within my control?

By building our self-trust muscle, we reinforce the message of this card: You’ve got this – not because you’re striving, but because you’re remembering.

Restore is the remembering. Empowered indifference is the action. And the You’ve Got this! card is the reminder of what we already know deep inside.
